Home:
- Due to the nature of the shoot all shots will be done inside my dining room, focused around the table and game board.
- In some cases a green screen will be used to remove the footage's background.
- This location is perfect as it has plenty of places in which power is available reducing the risk of cameras running low on power, it also allows me to use lighting giving me greater creative control.
- Shooting inside is a huge benefit as poor weather is not a variable that could cause issues regarding shooting schedules.
- Being at home also means there is plenty of access to refreshments,this keeps actors motivated and happy, making it easier for me to direct.
- The location is safe and has plenty of access to communication, medical supplies and is known by myself and others.
Field:
- This location is perfect for the scene I have planned for.
- This location is also close to home meaning if anything goes wrong then it would be easy to get back to safety.
- The weather could affect shooting, to reduce its effect I will check the forecast a few days in advance.
- The floor is muddy so suitable footwear is also a requirement.
- I will need to speak to the landowner to get their consent
- Mobile phone signal is available
- The field has been plowed so there are trip hazards
